"Ik ben in 2007 afgestudeerd in de richting product design met een collectie keukenproducten die geinspireerd zijn op de sobere, oude boerenkeukens van de 17e eeuw. Kenmerkend is de eenvoud, het gebruik van pure materialen en de aandacht voor de ervaring van een product. De afstudeercollectie bestaat uit voorraadpotten, schalen, een waterset en een kookschort met theedoek. Door het weglaten van overtollige informatie wilde ik reageren op de chaotische tijd van de 21e eeuw. De materiaalkeuze hangt sterk samen met de verstilling in vormgeving. De producten zijn gemaakt van ongeglazuurd steengoed, helder glas, metaal en textiel. Door hun pure kwaliteit nodigen de producten uit om aan te raken. "

Fenna Oosterhoff graduated in 2007 as a product designer at the ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem in The Netherlands, after which she founded her own design studio.
Fenna specializes in ceramics. Her products range from tableware and interior accessoiries to lamps. Clear shapes, functionality and timelessness characterize her designs.
I am fascinated by clear shapes and balanced proportions and I get inspired by materials, patterns and textures which occur in nature. I find the tactile value of a product important. This is why I love working with ceramics, it is the perfect material to experiment with form and texture.

The ceramic designs of FENNA OOSTERHOFF are all hand cast and made in Holland. Fenna is closely involved in the manufacturing of her products. She has much experience in both the field of ceramics and in all the stages of a design process from start to finish.
Fenna has worked in commission of several companies such as Philadelphia Zorg, Gispen, Dudok and the Dutch InScience Film Festival.
